Vocabulary

if it was twisted.

We did not have homework today. I have told the students to continue with their spelling, but I have been giving them time in class to do some of it. We will have a math test covering the material in Chapter 2 Friday. We reviewed that today. Thanks.

Fall Festival 2

Mrs. Luker's and Mrs. Tyree's class are sponsoring the Cake Walk. If you are willing to send or bring a cake, please get it to the school between 2:30 and 5:00 on Friday, Oct. 8. A form went home today about this. Thanks.

Boy Scouts

The Boy Scouts came today to tell about a meeting they will be having at the school tomorrow at 6:30pm. All the boys were invited.

Journal Writing

Most people have had to make a presentation in front of a group, like classmates or family. Think about a time when you had to present something in front of a group. Now, write a story about that occasion. Be sure to describe what you were presenting and who your audience was.

Problem of the Day

There were 3,760 visitors at an art exhibition. There were 1,565 men and 1,005 women. The rest were children. How many children went to the exhibition?
